Being well known as an important figure on national tennis venues, he is now playing with great success for the GfK on the international parquet. Focusing on the international business, combined with his strongly developed sense for the feasible, represent the optimum combination to represent the interest of GfK customers with a determined involvement to develop creative solutions and to gain new customers. Mr. Winfried Vogt was born in Gelnhausen, Hessen, on 18 February 1964. After successful termination of the high school in Bändingen Mr. Vogt took up his studies of business economics at the Justus-Liebig university in Gießen. At same time he worked for his parents tax office where he became acquainted with the tax world. Furthermore, he studied English in San Diego for several months. Since he is a successful tennis player he partially financed his studies as a tennis trainer in several clubs. In 1988 he terminated his studies as Bachelor of Commerce. He joined the world of credit insurance in 1989 when he started to work for the Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG. After his training in Hamburg he worked for the Cologne office from 1989 until 1995 where he set new targets in the field of acquisition, service and cooperation with bankers and credit agencies. In addition to acquisition and servicing of clients in the fields of credit and guarantee insurance as well as factoring he acted as adviser in the field of national coverage and held balance-sheet discussions in connection with granting of supplier´s credits. Since he was the most successful field agent of the Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG any career was open to him but Mr. Vogt decided to become an independent contractor an joined the GfK mbH in 1995. This courageous step and his entrepreneurial attitude led to a rapid growth of the circle of clients and the establishment of an international cooperation network. The international contacts and his knowledge of what is feasible formed the optimum basis for safe-guarding the interests of the Gfk´s clients, developing creative solutions and acquiring new clients.
